Q: Does the price include set up and delivery?

A: Yes, although additional fees may apply for areas farther out to cover travel time & additional gas.

Q: Do you deliver to other cities?

A: Yes, we try our very best to accommodate customers requests. Please keep in mind, due to the rise in cost for gas, in addition to travel time, there may be an out of area charge. . Please call or text our office for a current quote.

Q: How long is the delivery for?

A: All residential deliveries are full day. If you need a delivery for a school, church, or public function, be sure to contact us to review all details for your event.

Q: When do you set up?

A: That depends on how many rentals we have that day. We will always communicate with you a day or two prior to your event to coordinate your delivery and set-up.

Q: We've rented some really dirty jumps from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?

A: No. The units should be clean when you get it. Jumpin Jax takes pride in providing superior service. We clean and disinfect after every rental. We also sanitize all units on site just after setup.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: Yes, all orders require a $75 deposit to confirm your reservation. Deposits are non-refundable unless there is inclement weather. Please keep in mind the weather can change daily and hourly. We know this can be frustrating because of all of your planning and purchase of a cake, decor, & other goods. In the event of the need to cancel due to inclement weather, we may have some indoor options that will allow you to keep your party date. Rest assured, we try very hard to accommodate you for this special day.

For cancellations due to inclement weather, we will allow to to reschedule for a future booking within 3 months. Again, weather changes daily. The best time to make this call is within 24-48 hours of your event.

Q: How big are the jumps?

A: We have a wide assortment of different sizes available. Please note the space required for each jump (listed near the large picture) as some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Jumps need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can't rub against walls or trees as this may damage the jump. The sizes listed with each jump include the space needed for stakes etc. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup.

Q: What about the big jumps? Any special requirements?

A: Check the requirements listed with each jump. Also, make sure you have at least 5’ access to the area where it will be set up. The jumps can weigh up to 1000+ pounds so we need a clear path with ample room. There needs to be plenty of room free from trees, limbs, debris, power lines, play equipment, etc. Flat land is best!

Q: What surfaces do you set up on?

A: We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.

**For waterslides needing to be setup on concrete or solid surfaces, we have padding that can be added under the pool for an additional fee. For your safety, we will NOT setup on concrete without this padding.

Q: Do we need to leave the bounce house or waterslide inflated the whole time?

A: No, you do not need to leave the bounce house or waterslide on the whole time. When not in use, you can turn the blower off. It only takes a few minutes to re-inflate fully.

If you have a waterslide, keep in mind, most of the water will drain from the pool when you turn the blower off.

***In the event a storm or high winds come up, please immediately turn the blower(s) off to deflate the unit.

Q: How much power does the blower use?

A: Remarkably, not that much at all!! A small 1 HP blower will cost about $0.13 an hour, a medium 1.5 HP blower will cost about $0.15 an hour, and a large 2 HP blower will cost about $0.22 per hour. The average cost to run a bounce house for the day is about $1.28.

We know some people like to use a generator. With the outrageous rise in gas prices, it’s more economical to use power. The blower is simply a fan and doesn’t use much energy.

Q: Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?

A: Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.

Jumpin Jax Bounces Houses of Lancaster is locally owned and operated by Mick & Christina Tucker. Mick is the delivery guy. He has served our country in the Marine Corps for over 10 years and is still serving at just over 6 years in the Army National Guard. He is also actively pursuing ministry and seeking his degree in Christian Studies at Anderson University. Mick is also the missions director for our home church, Canaan Land Ministries. When you call, text, or email, you’re always talking with Christina. We believe it’s important for our customers to always be provided the same information and to be “in the know”. Christina is in contact with you through the whole process from booking, to scheduling delivery & setup, & even pickup. The majority of the time, she’s Mick’s sidekick at delivery & pickup.
